saver soup

Good afternoon everybody,

I thought I'd share a W.W.2 recipe for a soup that uses every kitchen scrap you can think of but trust me , its very tasty and virtually free !!

Ingrediants :

collect 2 pints of vegetable trimmings e.g ; potatoe, carrot, sprouts, turnip, anything you'd normally peel, cheese rinds, tops of carrots, any bacon bits, all carefully washed.

Any bread crusts, and a bunch of herbs.

Cook first in some fat for 10 mins, then add 2 pints of water and simmer for 3 hours.
Rub through a sieve or blend in a food processor, then season with salt and pepper.

Re heat as required.
Best served with crusty bread.

Yummy.
