hi folks, hope your all having a good weekend. Hubby and I have been catching up on some jobs that needed doing before Winter arrives, you know, all those snagging jobs that you put off until absolutley necessary!!! Boring, boring..... but hey ho there all done now. Halloween night tomorrow, is anybody going to any fab parties, or are you doing something with the kids, face painting , dressing up?? Here in France, they dont seem to do much, some little children do come around, and we give them sweeties, but in my village , there doesnt seem to be any special parties. The children at Teatime seem to go from shop to shop and the store keepers, give them sweets, they all look so cute, dressed up. Of course November the 5th is not celebrated, as British people , we seem to forget that Guy Fourks tried to blow up Parliament in England, not in France as well!!! We might have a bonfire to make us feel better about missing out on the celebrations. Im going to make some pumpkin soup and some gingerbread, oooer yummy, might have to eat some today now im thinking about it lol.
