Hi all, these are my beans from my veg patch, we had quite a crop this year,Im going to blanch them and then freeze to be used later on in stews and casseroles. Did you have a bumper crop of anything this year, and if you did, what are you going to do with them? I have a great sense of pride when I dig up or pick anything that Ive grown myself from my little patch. Next year, were going to try growing carrots in an old bath, wish me luck!! I also might try growing some tomatoes in my newly built greenhouse. We made the greenhouse from old tree trunks and some plastic my hubby uses at work. i hope it comes through the winter okay, as its quite vicious here sometimes, we get awful wind and ice storms. anyway , keep warm, see you here gain soon xx
